Charter ceiling — everyone on site, preschoolers included

The ceiling is what the mountain's septic system can honestly serve. No payment raises it. One group, properly hosted, never oversold.
Charter the ranch — any day of the week. Full-venue events are our headline offering, seven days a week: offsites, retreats, filming, weddings, private celebrations. When your event is confirmed, the entire ranch closes to all other guests — your group, a host on-site, nothing else on the mountain. Mon–Thu are dedicated charter days with no general camping at all. Fri and weekends are equally yours — book 60+ days ahead and the full calendar is open, since regular camping can't reserve that far out. Fri, Sat, Sun and holiday eves, and the July–September and October (foliage) seasons, each add ¥30,000 per day or night. Charter requests accepted up to 12 months ahead. Events always take the calendar first.

Charter includes equipment and shared facilities (kitchen, gym, office, showers, BBQ areas). AV is a 65-inch TV with HDMI plus a small backup projector — no large whiteboards, so plan sessions around the screen or the outdoors. You can't sleep in the main building; indoor space (up to 30) is for gatherings, and overnight stays are in tents at the campsite. Ask us about filming or live streaming.

Deposit & cancellation policy — charter events & corporate bookings
A deposit of 50% of the estimated total (minimum ¥50,000) confirms your date. Until the deposit is paid, dates are held tentatively for 7 days.
The balance is invoiced and due 30 days before the event day (bank transfer or card).
One free date change (within 6 months) if requested 30+ days before the event. Changes inside 30 days are treated as a cancellation. If you cancel after a date change, cancellation fees are calculated against the original event date.

No neighbors for 7 km.
Open Days go quiet at 22:00. A full-venue charter does not.
Wi-Fi on the field and in the building
Wi-Fi reaches the field and the building. Join a call from the tent or a camp chair.
No quiet hours on charter days
Amps, karaoke, live sets, fire-circle talks past midnight — no neighbors for 7 km means nobody to disturb. (Open Days keep quiet hours 22:00–08:00.)
Handheld fireworks welcome
Toy fireworks (がん具煙火) need no permit and most campgrounds ban them anyway — we don't. Handheld and fountain types only (no launched/rocket types), designated gravel area, bucket of water, embers to the ash cans.
BYO tent sauna welcome
Bring your own tent sauna, stove, and cold-plunge tub — a field, water access, and fire rules are the whole product. We never provide or operate a sauna (that would need a Public Bath House Act permit).
A genuinely dark sky
No light sources for 7 km at 1,444 m — the Milky Way is naked-eye visible on clear nights. Schedule around new moons; Perseids (mid-August) and Geminids (mid-December) are the flagship star-party windows.
Drone-friendly
Outside any DID (populated-area) zone — filming crews and drone schools hunt for legal practice fields like this. Pilot is responsible for Aviation Act compliance (registration, Remote ID, line-of-sight, under 150 m; night flight needs separate approval).
Pets welcome
All camp sites are pet-friendly — well-behaved dogs welcome, leash in shared areas.
Communities, this is your field
Formats this mountain was built for
Sauna meets (BYOS)
Bring-Your-Own-Sauna field day: tent-sauna owners show off their rigs, the mountain provides water, space, and fire rules. The community is large, online, and starved for legal venues.
Water access + open field
Car & moto meets
Jimny convoys, rooftop-tent and overlanding crews, camper vans, touring riders — the host drives a JB74 himself. Convoy in (4WD only, at your own risk), camp on the field, no closing time.
100+ parking
Star parties & astrophotography
Telescope clubs and astro-photo communities schedule around new moons — hand them a dark sky with indoor warm-up space. Geminids in mid-December give the quiet season a marquee night.
Zero light pollution
Band & orchestra camps (音楽合宿)
Rehearsal space in Tokyo is expensive and time-boxed. Here a group gets a carpeted indoor hall plus outdoor volume freedom for a whole weekend — midweek charters fit school and amateur ensembles perfectly.
Carpeted indoor hall
LAN parties, game jams & dev sprints
Fiber at 1,444 m, a table for every laptop, and total isolation — a hackathon venue that sounds made up. Esports bootcamps belong here too.
Fiber + 20+ tables
Cosplay & photo-shoot days
Open fields, mountain backdrops, a dark sky after sunset, and indoor changing space — photography communities book venues by the day.
Fields + indoor space
Corporate sports day (運動会)
A booming corporate-events genre: open field for the games, indoor hall as rain backup, convoy-scale parking. Exactly the spec event buyers search for.
Field + rain backup + parking

The price card is public — every number below is the real price. Rush +30%. Prices exclude consumption tax (消費税別). S/M/L are print-and-ship — no event required, 100-piece minimum; the per-head kits above are a charter add-on (artwork coordination, on-site handout, one qualified invoice line). Option: 5-sticker gift sheets for 200 guests (2 sheet layouts, 5-up half-cut) — a gift pack for handouts, not a cheaper Tier L.
All-in Event Pass
One per-head price, one qualified invoice (適格請求書): venue + tent & gear rental + firewood + gear shipping + coordination. Priced at a visible premium over a-la-carte (+15–20%) — the premium is the single-vendor convenience. Bedding is never included in any bundle.
Gear Concierge — free for charters
Ship your equipment, AV kit, and team-building props ahead — we receive, rack, and hand over on event day. Free for full-venue charters (¥500/parcel on Open Day stays).
Dry & Return — post-event tent drying
Rain on event day? Leave the wet tents with their storage bags and we air-dry them in the yard — ¥3,000 per tent, charter bookings only, tent count agreed in advance. You arrange the Yamato return pickup at the venue and sign a damage waiver (免責): we dry, you ship.
"Strategy under the stars"
Book your charter around a new moon and end day one under the Milky Way — we'll flag meteor-shower windows (Perseids, Geminids) when you pick dates.
OFFSITE BY DAY · ONSEN BY NIGHT
Run the day here — sleep in an onsen town
A pattern our corporate groups ask for: charter the mountain for the day — sessions in the hall, breakouts on the field, fire circle at dusk — then drive down to a hot-spring hotel for dinner, baths and beds. Manza Onsen is about 10 minutes up the Manza Highway (allow ~15 in snow); Kusatsu Onsen is roughly 50–60 minutes via Mihara (the year-round route). We are happy to coordinate timing with the hotel on your booking.
~10–15 min via the Manza Highway (15 in snow)
Manza Onsen
~10–15 min via the Manza Highway (15 in snow)
万座温泉日進舘 (Manza Onsen Nisshinkan)↗Banquet halls to ~120 guests, meeting hall for ~30 with projector/seminar rentals; 100% source-fed sulphur baths.
万座亭 (Manzatei)↗Four banquet rooms, up to 150 guests; log-built open-air bath and two private family baths.
万座プリンスホテル (Manza Prince Hotel)↗Milky sulphur baths among Japan’s richest, cliff-edge open-air bath; banquet rooms suit smaller groups (to ~40).
~50–60 min via Mihara (year-round route, estimate)
Kusatsu Onsen
~50–60 min via Mihara (year-round route, estimate)
草津温泉ホテルヴィレッジ (Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Village)↗The strongest corporate setup in Kusatsu: 315㎡ multi-purpose hall (splits in three) with AV, seminar rooms, published corporate-training plans.
ホテル櫻井 (Hotel Sakurai)↗Large-group specialist: grand banquet hall to 500 guests; ~30m grand bath — among Kusatsu’s largest — fed by three sources.
草津ナウリゾートホテル (Kusatsu Now Resort Hotel)↗138 rooms in 16 types, private open-air baths; banquet/meeting rooms exist but capacities are unpublished — inquire before booking a group.
Drive times: Manza ~10 min per the Tsumagoi tourism association, ~15 min when the road is snow-covered; Kusatsu 50–60 min is an estimate via the year-round Mihara route. The direct R292 route past Manza is seasonal and can close at short notice on volcanic-alert changes — plan Kusatsu transfers via Mihara. The Manza Highway is a toll road (cash only, no ETC).
