- Free if you stay that night at Work&Camp, Camp or on a car stay: pick the stay-guest ticket on Peatix and give your reservation name.
- Arrive from 16:15 for a sunset walk around the ranch (sunset 16:43). One shared BBQ grill is free to use; bring your own meat and vegetables.
- Rain or shine (no weather refunds). On a cloudy night we wait for gaps in the cloud by the fire and under the roofed terrace.
- We provide hot drinks and a fire pit to keep warm.
- Everyone gets a disposable hand warmer and a printed star chart for the night.
- The hosts are stargazing beginners. There is no expert commentary.
- Install a free star-map app (Stellarium Mobile, Star Walk 2 or similar) before you come: hold your phone up to the sky and it names the constellations.
- Dress for winter and bring a red light if you have one (November's normal low is −0.7 °C, JMA Tashiro). The field is unlit at night, with no homes or buildings within 7 km. Parking for 100+ cars, and the toilets are open to everyone attending.
Tickets are sold on Peatix and Luma, not on this site.
