At night (21:00–9:00): with the midnight pass (not Tue/Wed nights or closed days). On All-in Camp the lounge is yours 24 hours, every night.

Come alone. There is only one kotatsu.

In the cold months, autumn to early spring, the Kotatsu Lounge has a kotatsu (heated low table) on a 3-tatami heated-carpet floor. It has been out since the end of October 2026.

Details
  • It is part of the Kotatsu Lounge, so it goes with lounge access: All-in Camp guests can use the lounge 24 hours, every night; Field only and car-stay guests who add the lounge (9:00–21:00) or buy a midnight pass (21:00–9:00, closed Tue and Wed nights); day visitors with a day or 4-hour pass (9:00–21:00).
  • The kotatsu is not a futon: no sleeping in the lounge, sleep in your tent.

Even the hermit loses to the kotatsu.

Warm air, clean air

Warm without kerosene. Air you can think in.

  • The lounge is heated by two Daikin business air conditioners. No kerosene.
  • A sensor watches the CO2; above 1000 ppm, the windows open.

Details
  • There is no kerosene heater in the lounge, so no kerosene smell and no combustion fumes. Good news if kerosene smell bothers you.
  • 1000 ppm is the limit Japanese law sets for the air in larger buildings.
  • The heating is two Daikin commercial heat pumps, which Sennin Kenji put into the insulated building himself.

Not an old roadside stop: a lounge to work, unwind and meet people in.

Our water is well water. It passed the official 11-item water-quality test on 8 Aug 2026 (Gunma Analysis Center, certificate No. B00907), so it is safe to drink. Certificate: https://tsumagoi.kensaur.us/gallery/water-quality-certificate-2026.webp . The unmanned store also sells drinks.
