Work&Camp is the reason this place exists: somewhere to work with nature right outside. We would be glad to have you help it carry on.

After more than 20 years working in Singapore, I was tired of city life and came back to Japan around 2024. I took up camping, but driving out of Tokyo every Friday or Saturday and crawling home through Sunday traffic was torture. So we set out to make one place where you can work and camp at the same time. Around August 2025 we found an abandoned ranch resthouse, and my wife and I spent about a year bringing it back. We cleared out the rodents and insects, put in double glazing, heating and air conditioning, and slept through winter nights in a tent pitched inside the building.

Because it isn't a bare pitch.
At 1,444m the simple Camp tier is ¥3,000/night on check-ins through 30 Nov for the first adult, +¥2,000 each additional (¥5,200 and +¥2,200 from 1 Dec), with the field, shared kitchen, toilets and parking; the all-in Work&Camp tier is ¥6,500/night through 30 Nov, +¥3,500 each additional (¥7,200 and +¥4,200 from 1 Dec), and adds the heated fiber office area, gym and hot showers — you sleep in a tent either way.
This is a real former pasture: gently sloped, leveled a little more every season.
Blue ground sheets (ブルーシート) are laid in parts of the field so grass doesn’t grow under a tent — pitch on one if you want a flat base that is ready to go, or anywhere else on the field you like.
Bring a thick sleeping mat if you want extra comfort, and if you feel a lean, pitch with your head uphill.
