Pizza Night, the first try

Our first pizza night, a small test run. We are not pros: this is our first time with a pizza oven too. Bring your dough and toppings and bake your own pizza in a wood-fired oven, at the old mountain resthouse my wife and I spent a year fixing up. Come make some friends before winter. 12 places.

  • Up to 12 guests
  • 17:00–21:00; the oven heats up through the afternoon. Stay guests can check in from 12:00.
  • One wood-fired portable pizza oven (Fireside KABUTO): pizzas up to 30 cm, 80–120 seconds each. The mouth is low, so keep the base thin and under 30 cm. We take turns, so the wait is part of the evening.
  • Bring your own food and drink: dough, toppings, everything. The hosts supply no food (no dough, sauce or tasters). You bake your own; we lend the oven and tools, supply the fuel and watch the fire. If you share a dish, label its allergens on a card.
  • Bring your own drinks; we do not sell alcohol. Nobody drives after drinking, so stay the night.
  • Free if you stay that night at Work&Camp, Camp or on a car stay: pick the 'Staying with us that night' ticket on Luma and give your reservation name.
  • This night runs if 4 walk-in tickets are paid for by Wed 21 Oct, 20:00 JST. If not, we call it off and you choose: a full refund, or a free bonfire night instead. We tell you by 21:00 that day. Stay bookings stand either way.
  • The oven cannot run in rain or strong wind (the maker's instructions). We decide by 18:00 the day before; if we call it off, you get a full refund.
  • Your own gear and fuel are welcome. The shop sells firewood (¥1,000 a basket), charcoal (about 3 kg, ¥1,500), fire starters, cans ¥200 and bottles ¥250 (cash, card or PayPay).
  • Outdoors at 嬬恋牧場Work&Camp (Plus Code HGQ5+PW Tsumagoi). From November, come on snow tyres. Questions: LINE @012pteqb. Sale terms: tsumagoi.kensaur.us/tokusho.
  • Nights are cold: dress for winter (November's normal low is −0.7 °C, JMA Tashiro). The field is unlit at night, so bring a light.

Tickets are sold on Peatix and Luma, not on this site.
