Soba, gyoza and watercolour Sunday
The afternoon after the bonfire night, an autumn Sunday: make soba, fold gyoza and paint the turning mountains in watercolour. Bring your own ingredients and paints; we are amateurs at all three. It is about an unhurried afternoon of making things up in the mountains, not about getting it right. When it turns cold, the All-in Camp's warm Kotatsu Lounge. 12 places.

Event + All-in Camp
Staying? Make it the All-in Camp. The event is free for you.
- From ¥7,200 per night, one adult
- The ¥1,000 ticket is free for everyone staying
- After the fire, the night carries on in the Kotatsu Lounge: 24 hours on the All-in Camp, in a pass's hours for everyone else.
After booking, take the free stay-guest ticket on Peatix under your reservation name. Winter tyres are required November to April.
Stay on Field only or a car stay (still free entry)
- Up to 12 guests
- 13:00–17:00. Stay guests can check in from 12:00.
- Paint the leaves outside the window if you like: our larches stay gold until about 10 November (the hermit's own reckoning). The nearby leaf spots are on the site's "Explore the Area" page.

- Bring your own ingredients and tools: buckwheat and wheat flour, gyoza wrappers and filling, paints and paper. The hosts supply no food and no art materials.
- Buckwheat allergy: take care, the flour gets into the air while we work. If you share food, label its allergens (buckwheat, wheat, milk, egg, shellfish and so on) on a card.
- Bring your own drinks; we do not sell alcohol. Nobody drives after drinking.
- Free if you stay on Saturday 31 Oct or Sunday 1 Nov on the All-in Camp, Field only or a car stay: pick the 'Staying with us' ticket on Luma and give your reservation name.
- It runs however many come. If a heavy-rain, storm or heavy-snow warning is out, we call it off by 18:00 the day before and refund in full.

- At 1,444 m the afternoons are cold too: dress warmly (November's normal low is −0.7 °C, JMA Tashiro).
